My name is Arshdeep Kaur. I am a professional tattoo artist at Hardwork Tattoo, trained in realism and portrait tattoos. I was born and raised in Jalandhar, Punjab, and hold a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from KMV College. Art has been part of my life since childhood, but I never imagined it would lead me to tattooing. My journey began with a simple moment, a butterfly drawn on my wrist with a pen. A friend of my uncle, who was a tattoo artist, visited our home. As kids, we asked him for tattoos, and that small drawing stayed with me for years. That moment planted the seed.
My biggest support has been my husband. His love for tattoos and belief in me pushed me to follow this path. He’s the reason I stepped into this profession and stayed committed to it. I began learning tattooing in Jalandhar and later moved to Canada to grow further. At Hardwork Tattoo, I trained under Harmeet Sir, who taught me professional-level techniques and how to master clean line work.
Today, I create tattoos that are rich in detail and emotion. As a Punjabi woman in this field, I feel proud to have the support of my family. I focus on realism and portraits because I love telling stories through art that lasts a lifetime.
