Founded by Harmeet Singh, Canada's first Sikh professional tattoo artist.
Harmeet Singh founded Hardwork Tattoos in Brampton as Canada's first Sikh professional tattoo artist. Hardwork Tattoos built its reputation through realism tattoos, portrait tattoos, black-and-grey work, and Punjabi cultural tattoo designs created for clients across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Originally from New Delhi, India, Harmeet Singh entered the tattoo industry in 2016 with a focus on detailed realism, clean shading, and culturally rooted tattoo work. His portfolio includes Sikh warrior tattoos, portrait tattoos, Gurbani tattoos, lion tattoos, sleeve tattoos, and black-and-grey compositions. Hardwork Tattoos records healed tattoo results, follows sterilisation procedures, and maintains artist documentation for every tattoo session. Each tattoo combines placement planning, technical precision, and long-term ink clarity.
Recognised by Punjabi music, film, and sport — and clients across the GTA.

Tattoo Styles We Master
Our artists specialize across a wide range of tattoo styles, ensuring you're always matched with the right artist for the look you want, executed with expert precision.

Name tattoos
Name tattoos include script style options, font pairing guidance, and suggested placements for wrists, forearms, collarbones, and behind the ear.

Realism tattoos
Realism tattoos use controlled lighting, soft shading, and tonal transitions to create lifelike dimension, especially in black and grey. Structure comes from steady contrast and shape clarity.

Sikh warrior Tattoo
Sikh warrior tattoos celebrate heritage and identity. Designs often include khanda elements, nihang armor forms, and portrait textures handled with cultural awareness and respectful detailing.

Full Arm Tattoo
Full arm tattoos follow a sleeve plan that organises symbols, portraits, and shading into a smooth flow. Each session builds the composition panel by panel for a cohesive visual result.

Full Back Tattoo
Full back tattoos create depth using layered shading, focal alignment, and symmetry checks across the spine and shoulders. Larger canvas planning ensures the tattoo reads well from all distances.

Portrait Tattoo
Portrait tattoos rely on accurate reference mapping and carefully blended gradients to capture likeness and emotion. Proportions and highlights are handled with measured precision for a true resemblance.

Religious & Spiritual
Religious tattoos require cultural understanding and careful composition. Deity portraits, Gurbani script, Om, Khanda, and other spiritual symbols are rendered with accuracy, respect, and precise detailing.

Cover-Up Tattoos
Cover-up tattoos transform faded ink, old names, and unwanted pieces into bold new work. Each cover-up is designed around the existing tattoo's shape, darkness, and skin tone to achieve full coverage.

Studio Health, Safety & Sterilisation
Hardwork Tattoos operates in full compliance with Ontario's Skin Care and Personal Services Hygiene Regulations. Our studio undergoes regular health inspections and maintains standards that exceed industry requirements because your health is never something we compromise on.
01Sterile Equipment
All reusable instruments are sterilised using a certified autoclave. Every piece of equipment is tested with biological indicators and logged to ensure complete sterilisation before use on any client.
02Cross-Contamination Prevention
Our artists follow strict glove-change and hand-hygiene protocols throughout every session. Ink is never double-dipped. All workstations are disinfected between clients using hospital-grade antimicrobials.
03Disposable, Single-Use Items
Every needle, grip, cartridge, and ink cap used at Hardwork Tattoos is single-use only. We open them from a sealed package in front of you and dispose of them safely immediately after your session. No exceptions.
04Surface Protection & Barrier Film
Workstations, tattoo chairs, and all contact surfaces are wrapped in fresh barrier film for each client. This prevents any cross-surface contamination and ensures a visibly clean, hygienic environment every time.
We tattoo the way we'd want our own family tattooed. Ontario Regulation 136/18 sets the legal floor for tattoo and piercing studios across the province. We meet it on every session, every time.
What you do next is half the work.
Every fresh tattoo leaves with Second Skin applied and written instructions. Follow these five rules for the first two weeks.
Remove the bandage as instructed. Wash gently with a fragrance-free cleanser twice a day.
No swimming, baths, or hot tubs for 2–3 weeks. Showers are fine.
Keep it covered or shaded for the first month. SPF 30+ once fully healed.
Itching is normal. Picking causes scarring and ink loss — let it flake naturally.
Thin layers of fragrance-free lotion only. Oversaturating slows the healing process.

Do neck tattoos hurt? What You Must Know
Yes, neck tattoos usually hurt more than most placements because the skin in this region is thin, exposed, and close to the bone.
